You’ll need to bring your own gear. \n\n\n\n\n\nYour guides\n\n\n\n\n\nLucas Melo • Yoga teacher\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLucas was first introduced to yoga during his teenage years. This discipline helped him believe in change as he immigrated from Brazil to start a brand new life in Montreal. Eager to deepen his practice\, he earned his yoga teacher training certification in 2023 under the guidance of François Lacerte. \n\n\n\n\n\nAgathe • Organizer\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPassionate about outdoor activities\, Agathe has been hiking and climbing for several years. Yoga became an obvious choice for her during the COVID period\, allowing her to cultivate inner balance while maintaining good physical condition. \n\n\n\nArriving in Quebec in 2024\, she quickly joined the Zero Gravité team with enthusiasm\, where she now serves as the communications and activities manager. \n\n\n\n\n\nEmilie • Massage therapist\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCertified in Kinetic® Swedish massage since September 2020 and trained in deep tissue massage\, Emilie offers a biomechanics-focused massage therapy approach. Her method is holistic\, combining empathy and energy\, always respecting each individual’s boundaries and personal space. Convinced of the strong connection between body and mind\, she found further confirmation of this belief during her yoga teacher training. \n\n\n\nShe believes that the benefits of massage are numerous: relieving the body of tension and restrictions\, improving mobility\, and promoting reconnection with sensations. Passionate about climbing\, she has a solid understanding of the specific needs associated with this practice. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPasse-Montagne Climbing School\n\n\n\nPasse-Montagne is a climbing school located in Val-David in the Laurentians since 1981. SUMMARY:Back to yourself • yoga workshop guided by Clara and Kantuta
DESCRIPTION:Retour à soi – yoga workshop guided by Kantuta and ClaraRestorative yoga\, therapeutic touch and sound baths \n\n\n\nAn inner journey to soothe\, relax and refocus. \n\n\n\nNeed to calm your nervous system and reduce your internal temperature this summer? \n\n\n\nTreat yourself to an interlude of physical and mental recuperation\, a moment of deep relaxation to come back to yourself\, gently. \n\n\n\nDuring this workshop\, we’ll explore a slow\, enveloping\, prop-supported restorative yoga practice designed to invite the body and mind to release accumulated tension. \n\n\n\nThe practice will be accompanied by gentle therapeutic touch\, to support the opening of the body\, activate deep relaxation and guide your nervous system towards the parasympathetic state – that of rest\, regeneration and repair. \n\n\n\nWe also encourage conscious breathing throughout the session: a return to simple\, fluid breathing to regulate internal energy\, calm the mind and support bodily relaxation. \n\n\n\nTo round off this immersion\, you’ll be lulled to sleep by a sound bath: the vibrations of Tibetan bowls\, chimes and other intuitive instruments will harmonize the energetic body\, soothe the emotions and deepen the state of letting go. \n\n\n\nTreat yourself to this moment of care and presence. No previous experience necessary – just the desire to slow down and listen to what your body and heart have to say.

SUMMARY:Yoga teacher training information session (online)
DESCRIPTION:Interested in learning more about Zero Gravity’s yoga teacher training program? Meet training manager François Lacerte and ask all your questions! \n\nTwo online sessions (registration required to receive meeting link):– Friday May 30 at 10am– Friday June 27 at 10am \n\nTwo face-to-face sessions at the studio (reservation essential):– Saturday June 7 at 12:15pm– Sunday June 8 at 6:45pm \n\nTRAINING DETAILS \n\nWhether you want to learn how to teach yoga or simply deepen your practice and understanding of yoga\, Baba Yoga’s teacher training program is very comprehensive\, both for classical yoga training and for the teaching profession. \n\nDeveloped around the integrity of the discipline: ashtanga\, or the 8 limbs of yoga\, this course offers a balanced approach between tradition and modernity\, proposing a pathway that provides a thorough understanding of this ancestral practice\, while developing the tools to integrate it concretely into a contemporary lifestyle. This course will enable you to develop the skills needed to understand\, practice and teach yoga\, by studying and exploring the discipline through all its aspects: the āsanas (yoga postures)\, philosophy\, prānāyamas (breathing exercises)\, meditation\, anatomy (physical body and subtle body)\, teaching methodology and ethics of the profession. \n\nYou will be led to develop a critical mind on the world of yoga and to question yourself on how to apply this philosophy in your daily life and in your teachings. \n\nThe 200-hour training program is certified by the Yoga Alliance and accredited by Human Resources and Skills Development Canada (tax receipts available).
