SUMMARY:Talk with Antoine Dagorne
DESCRIPTION:Talk and discussion with Antoine Dagorne: the Keys to Success in Climbing : from technic to mental optimization \n\n\n\nWhen it comes to climbing training\, people often (and mistakenly) focus solely on the physical aspects. Yet climbing is a complex discipline that requires a wide range of skills\, often misunderstood\, especially by beginner or intermediate climbers. \n\n\n\nIn this presentation\, we will begin by defining climbing as a whole to better grasp its specificities. \n\n\n\nNext\, we will examine the key factors of climbing performance\, analyzing them across various disciplines: bouldering\, sport climbing\, and speed climbing\, as well as different performance approaches (onsight\, flash\, and redpoint).Finally\, we will emphasize the importance of targeted training for each performance factor\, enabling athletes to reach their full potential. \n\n\n\nAntoine Dagorne\, private climbing coach : \n\n\n\nWith extensive experience in climbing and a Master’s degree in sports physiology and biomechanics\, Antoine is well-equipped to assist climbers in rapidly progressing and achieving their climbing goals. Drawing upon his expertise in training science\, Antoine possesses the knowledge necessary to effectively guide you. His coaching experience ensures a pragmatic approach tailored to your specific needs. \n\n\n\nWhat are the talks at Zéro Gravité ? \n\n\n\nMoments of storytelling\, knowledge sharing\, personal anecdotes\, and exploration—our monthly talk sessions are back at Zéro Gravité\, held one Friday a month. These events begin with a presentation\, followed by an open discussion on the chosen topic. Everyone is welcome to join us in Zéro Gravité’s yoga studio. Free with reservation.

SUMMARY:Yoga workshop | Danga - contentment\, guided by Mylène
DESCRIPTION:In these days when the light fades\, a small “lamp” may light up within us\, inviting us to turn inward. \n\n\n\nFor this December Danga ritual\, Santosha (contentment) will be the “lamp\,” inspiring an introspective journey carried by sounds and music. This concept\, drawn from Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras\, is one of the five Niyamas\, ethical guidelines for balanced personal conduct. Santosha invites us to cultivate acceptance and gratitude while acknowledging life’s challenges. \n\n\n\nThis contentment does not require renouncing desires but encourages us not to tie our happiness to their fulfillment. It invites a shift of focus toward what brings peace and gratitude\, even in the smallest details. It is a practice of discernment in the face of the mind’s fluctuations\, a path toward personal growth and maturity. \n\n\n\nLet’s close the year together\, in movement and reflection\, guided by this pursuit of Santosha! \n\n\n\nRegular price: $35 + taxes \n\n\n\nStudent\, U.D.A.\, RQD\, and non-profit price: $25 + taxes \n\n\n\n“Early bird” price until 7 days prior: $5 discount! \n\n\n\nPrerequisites: open-minded individuals\, adventurers of the body + mind dialogue\, with a foundation in Yoga and/or the ability to listen to your body when the pace of the class feels too fast or too slow! No dance experience required. We provide support and offer adaptations for postures and exercises. Welcome! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\nDANGA (DANCE & YOGA) is an alternative method of teaching Yoga developed by Mylène and accredited by the American Yoga Alliance in 2013. It is an alternative training approach\, combined with an extroverted way of practicing introspection. Practice where we think while spending ourselves. Sense of humor and sacredness at the same table. \n\nDANGA CLASS A multi-dimensional exploration of a singular theme\, using asanas\, pranayamas\, and danced pranayamas\, along with uncodified movements\, targeted improvisations\, subtle sounds\, and powerful music—all in dialogue with the central theme of the evening. \n\nÀ travers des paysages musicaux multiples\, un parcours réflexif et bougé servant l’exploration d’un thème central. Un atelier/labo semé de postures yogiques et balayé de grands vents dansés. We mix our yoga practice by propelling it between decibels and silence. Constantly at work: A search for freedom through constraints (offered as levers for concentration).
