Danga Sankalpa with Mylène

**Please note that the workshop will be taught in French**

Workshop Danga – Sankalpa
Friday, February 23rd – with Mylène
7:30 PM to 9:30 PM

Sankalpa is a yogic concept that encourages listening and formulating a personal affirmation, which acts as a kind of compass to guide our steps. Thus, on the evening of February 23rd, the theme of our yogic journey, danced and reflective (sweating, relaxation, concentration, and reflection), will lead us to the end of the journey, to a session inviting the emergence of a personal Sankalpa (i.e., a wish, a commitment that we take to support a direction within ourselves), stripped of accessory desires and self-judgments that cloud the clarity of a vital impulse.

We may not control the wind in this life, but at least our sail, let’s take it into account and direct where to hoist it!

DANGA (DANCE & YOGA)
An alternative method of teaching Yoga developed by Mylène and accredited by the American Yoga Alliance in 2013. An extraverted way of practicing introspection. A way of thinking while exerting oneself. Through multiple musical landscapes, Mylène invites you on a reflective and dynamic journey serving the multi-angled exploration of a central theme, through asanas, pranayamas, and danced pranayamas, non-codified steps, targeted improvisations, subtle sounds, and powerful music. Free yourself through constraints (offered as levers for concentration). Sense of humor and the sacred at the same table.
