The two extremes of our sport come together: the most adventurous disciplines and techniques meet indoor climbing. Activities inspired by big wall climbing, winter ascents, mountaineering, and competitive dry-tooling will be on the agenda.
Prizes for competitors: $8,000 to be shared among the 12 winners!

Competition with Wooden Ice Axes (Top Rope)
Join in or come cheer on climbers from the community during a friendly competition using wooden ice axes!
Participation fee: $30 (includes gym entry). Top-rope certifications are required before 1:00 PM, Saturday, November 16.
Required equipment: helmets and climbing shoes.
Dry-tooling competition, open category (metal picks and climbing shoes, lead climbing)
A rare opportunity! With a qualification route and a final route, this indoor competition lets you climb with real ice axes in hand. Show off your precision, endurance, and skill. Don’t miss this experience, whether you’re competing or watching as an audience member in search of thrilling moments!
Participation fee: $50 (includes gym entry). Lead climbing certifications are required before 1:00 PM, Saturday, November 16.
Required equipment: mixed or dry-tooling ice axes, dry-tooling blades, climbing shoes, and helmets.

Dry-Tooling with Nathalie Fortin:
Discover the world of dry-tooling with Nathalie Fortin, an experienced ice climber and alpinist with over 20 years of expertise. In this discipline, climbers use wooden or traditional ice axes to ascend rock faces. With routes adapted for all levels, you’ll have the chance to try out this demanding practice—on our walls, using your own climbing shoes and gloves!
from 1:15 pm to 2:00 pm, and from 2:15 pm to 3:00 pm
Rescue Techniques with Passe-Montagne:
Learn essential alpine rescue techniques, including emergency response and self-rescue in alpine environments. Open to all levels, this workshop will equip you with the skills to react effectively in critical situations.
Aid climbing: Get an introduction to aid climbing: newly designed routes that can’t be climbed freely—you’ll need to use etriers!
Bonatti: This route comes to a complete stop, making it impossible to pass—you might even need a grappling hook… what to do?
