Ice climbing discovery in Parc Jean Drapeau

Join our ice climbing discovery course in partnership with Passe-Montagne at the Jean-Drapeau wall in Montreal. This 4-hour experience, led by certified instructors, will introduce you to this unique discipline with no prerequisites required. All specialized equipment is provided on-site, including helmets, harnesses, ice axes, crampons, and safety gear. You will learn the basics of positioning, movements, tying knots, as well as the vocabulary and safety instructions, all complemented by several supervised climbs.
The course is open to participants aged 15 and up, or from 8 years old if accompanied by a parent. For everyone’s comfort and safety, the activity will be canceled if the temperature drops below -25°C or if 5 to 10 mm of rain is forecasted the day before.
