Yoga workshop | Danga – contentment, guided by Mylène
December 13 @ 19:15 – 21:15
In these days when the light fades, a small “lamp” may light up within us, inviting us to turn inward.
For this December Danga ritual, Santosha (contentment) will be the “lamp,” inspiring an introspective journey carried by sounds and music. This concept, drawn from Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, is one of the five Niyamas, ethical guidelines for balanced personal conduct. Santosha invites us to cultivate acceptance and gratitude while acknowledging life’s challenges.
This contentment does not require renouncing desires but encourages us not to tie our happiness to their fulfillment. It invites a shift of focus toward what brings peace and gratitude, even in the smallest details. It is a practice of discernment in the face of the mind’s fluctuations, a path toward personal growth and maturity.
Let’s close the year together, in movement and reflection, guided by this pursuit of Santosha!

DANGA (DANCE & YOGA) is an alternative method of teaching Yoga developed by Mylène and accredited by the American Yoga Alliance in 2013. It is an alternative training approach, combined with an extroverted way of practicing introspection. Practice where we think while spending ourselves. Sense of humor and sacredness at the same table.
DANGA CLASS A multi-dimensional exploration of a singular theme, using asanas, pranayamas, and danced pranayamas, along with uncodified movements, targeted improvisations, subtle sounds, and powerful music—all in dialogue with the central theme of the evening.
À travers des paysages musicaux multiples, un parcours réflexif et bougé servant l’exploration d’un thème central. Un atelier/labo semé de postures yogiques et balayé de grands vents dansés. We mix our yoga practice by propelling it between decibels and silence. Constantly at work: A search for freedom through constraints (offered as levers for concentration).
