It is with great pleasure that Zéro Gravité welcomes Alexandre Gariépy, our new physiotherapist, to its team!
Alexandre obtained his master’s degree in physiotherapy from the University of Montreal in 2016 and is an accredited member of the Professional Order of Physiotherapy of Quebec (OPPQ) and of the sports and orthopedics division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA). Having several fields of interest related to his profession, he is as much interested in sports physiotherapy as in physical training, injury prevention, treatment of concussions as well as the optimization of performance in the sport such as downhill skiing, mixed martial arts and rock climbing.
Over the past ten years, Alexandre has developed a keen interest in climbing during numerous trips around the world. He therefore decides to focus on the community of climbers, in order to help them in their discipline by bringing the knowledge he has gained by working with high-level sports athletes, and this, with an approach based on the sports science and human science.
You can make an appointment with him on Fridays and every other Saturday starting May 12 at zero-gravite.ca/physiotherapy.
Welcome Alexandre!
