François Lacerte

Yoga and Meditation Instructor

François Lacerte, enseignant professeur de yoga à Zéro Gravité

Yoga presented itself to him as an unexpected path as he went through a rather foggy period. A few years of diligent practice and more than 800 hours of training in yoga and meditation have transformed him and brought him on a much more rewarding journey than he could have imagined. Because teaching yoga is first of all practicing it, he practices daily in the various branches of the practice of yoga (postural work, breathing exercise, meditation, etc.) applying himself not to restrict this practice to the edge of his yoga mat but to make it evolve in everyday gestures. Because being a teacher is first and foremost being a student, François is in continuous training with his mentor Swami Premananda Saraswati. He is trained in traditional Hatha yoga, in Vinyasa, in anatomy and postural pathologies, in restorative yoga, and received training on chakras and meditation. François has also been climbing for several years.

The compass of Mylène’s path points towards the body. Having been initiated into Yoga via the Iyengar method over 25 years ago, Mylène subsequently studied several yogic approaches. Today she practices a tonic and fluid yoga, where a sense of alignment and exploration are in constant dialogue. Mylène is the initiator of Danga (dance / Yoga) which, since 2013, constitutes the first teaching method of Yoga informed by dance, to be validated by the Yoga Alliance. The questions linked to the great adventure of the body / head duo are those that Mylène favors within her complementary fields of practice, namely those of communicator, and author / performer / choreographer in the theatre. Mother of 2 teenage athletes, Mylène has had the opportunity to teach young climbing competitors for the past few years.

Lucas Melo

Yoga Instructor

Lucas professeur de yoga à Zéro Gravité, Montréal, Québec

Lucas was first introduced to yoga during his teenage years. This discipline allowed him to believe in change, as he had just immigrated from Brazil to start a whole new life in Montreal. Wanting to deepen his practice, he obtained his yoga teacher training certification in 2023 under François Lacerte.

Lucas also carries music within him. Having studied jazz, he pursues his musical career in composition, exploring the cultural plurality between his country of origin and Quebec. As a guitarist, double bassist, and singer, Lucas brings a philosophical attention to both his music and his yoga practice.

Hélène discovered yoga in 2016 through CrossFit training. Later, while leading stretching sessions in a costume-making workshop, she decided to become a yoga instructor. A seamstress for Les Grands Ballets Canadiens and a costume enthusiast, yoga became her way to balance her life, develop spatial body awareness, and understand the importance of good posture both at work and at home.

In 2020, she completed a 200-hour teacher training program with François Lacerte, learning to practice more mindfully while overcoming her shyness about speaking in front of groups. A fan of inversions, she enjoys teaching varied, dynamic, and energizing classes with humility and humor.

A year-round cyclist and passionate climber since 2015, she sees yoga as a way to enhance body mobility, regardless of the sport. Always eager to explore new forms of practice, she has experimented with hot yoga and aerial yoga.

Clara Garot

Yoga Instructor

Clara Garot professeure de yoga à Zéro Gravité studio de yoga Montréal Le Plateau escalade et yoga vinyasa hatha yin

Traveler at heart, she has had the opportunity to practice and immerse herself in the world of yoga with various yogis during her journeys over the years. For her, yoga is a philosophy that leads to the depths of the self, allowing greater self-awareness through the union of body and mind. It is also a way of life that helps her maintain the balance needed to move forward and stay grounded in the present moment.

It is an honor for her to share this passion and gently guide her students on their journeys toward better health and personal fulfillment, also through mindful breathing, meditation, and relaxation.

Equally passionate about climbing and dance, she looks forward to welcoming you at Zéro Gravité to guide you, encourage you to listen to yourself, and cultivate kindness toward yourself.

After training 3 to 4 times a week for more than 20 years in a dozen different sporting disciplines, Eric decided to study how far we can push humans by expanding our range of possibilities. His constant search for new techniques and new points of view has led him to more than a dozen training courses: from CrossFit to self-massages; from PNF stretching to kettlebells, etc. Always curious and critical, he mixes traditional training methods with the latest techniques to offer training that is as varied as it is effective, while remaining motivating and inclusive. More interested in surpassing oneself than performance, his philosophy is: “Run when the weather is good, to be able to walk in the storm. “

Ann Sophie Perreault

Yoga Instructor

Ann Sophie professeure de yoga Zéro Gravité studio de yoga escalade et yoga

Ann Sophie didn’t believe in love at first sight until a friend introduced her to yoga in 2016. She then stepped into a world that she became viscerally passionate about and for which her curiosity knows no bounds. From then on, yoga became part of her daily life and its philosophy led her to adopt a new outlook on life. It allowed her to develop a healthy relationship with her body and has since become a pillar of her life balance.

Her desire to deepen her personal practice led her to take her first Vinyasa Yoga teacher training course in Chile, an experience that allowed her to combine two of her passions: yoga and the Spanish language. She then continued her yogic journey and her exploration of movement through dance and music with a second teacher training course in Danga with Mylène Roy. She also continues to train and develop her skills with her second mentor, François Lacerte.

Her wish is to share her infinite love of yoga and make it accessible to all, combining gentleness and creativity.
