When should you get your climbing shoes resoled?
To extend the life of your shoes, it may be a good idea to get them resoled before they become too worn.
As soon as the sole starts to become smooth and the line between the sole and the rubber rand (the rubber around the shoe) starts to erode, you can have them resoled. Ideally, this should be done before the rubber rand is punctured, for a simpler, cheaper, and more effective repair. Waiting until there is a hole makes the repair more complex and costly, or even impossible if the fabric is damaged.
To find out if your shoes can be repaired, feel free to ask us at the reception desk, or take a look at his website.
