Discover the world of ice climbing with this comprehensive 8-hour introductory course. The program includes familiarization with specific equipment, learning belaying and descent techniques, and discovering the movements required to progress on ice. Participants will also be trained in communication techniques and essential safety instructions to climb with confidence. The practice will take place under supervision on the Julien Labedan wall, located in the Laurentians, featuring routes under 30 meters in height with difficulty levels ranging from grades 3 to 4+.
This class is accessible 15 year’s old, or at 8 with a parent. For everybody safety, the class will be canceled if the temperature drop under 25°c or if 5 to 10 mm are scheduled the day before.
