Screening of the documentary film “Cholitas,” which recounts this group of women's ascent to the summit of Aconcagua, the highest mountain in the Americas. The film will be followed by a conference to discuss the initiative of these guardians of the mountain in greater detail and share Tanya Lecuyer's experience of climbing Huayna Potosí (6,088 m) alongside them last September.
During the conference, Jacques Lamontagne will share with you, in images and words, some of his sometimes comical but always captivating adventures on Quebec's rock faces during the '70s and '80s. Of course, he'll also talk about his brand-new guidebook 50 Classiques de Lamontagne / Les plus belles grandes voies d'escalade au Québec!
